SoundBlast is your contact for the processing described here. This notice covers the public website at soundblast.pro and explains its relationship to the distribution service at dashboard.soundblast.pro. Account-specific information is also provided in the dashboard. A video choice on this website does not grant permission for dashboard tracking or for other external websites.
2. Visiting the website
Delivering the website requires technical information such as your IP address, the requested page, browser and operating system, access time and referring page where your browser sends it. Hosting and IT infrastructure providers process this information to deliver pages, diagnose faults and protect the service against abuse. Technical access and error information may be recorded in server logs.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a reliable, secure website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. These technical requests are distinct from optional audience measurement or advertising tracking. The public website does not integrate Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar.
3. Contact and customer support
When you contact us, we process the contact details, message and any account or release information you provide to answer your request and resolve support issues. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. Email and IT service providers may process correspondence for delivery and support.
Requests relating to a contract or steps you ask us to take before a contract are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries are handled under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. Where we must retain records to meet a legal obligation, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR applies.
4. Your distribution account and SonoSuite
Registration and account management take place in the separate SoundBlast dashboard. Account data can include your email address, authentication details, name, contact details, company and country, together with information you submit to use our services. Payment-related information can include billing and tax details. Payment providers process payment credentials; SoundBlast does not store your full credit-card details.
We use this information to set up and manage your account, provide the distribution service, process service-related transactions, communicate about your account and provide support. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for our contract and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR for applicable legal obligations. Necessary security and fraud-prevention processing is based on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
SonoSuite hosts and manages the white-label platform and provides its technical support. It processes service data in connection with operating the platform for SoundBlast. See the privacy notice available in your dashboard and SonoSuite’s privacy information for additional details about platform processing. SoundBlast remains your contact for questions about your account data.
Non-essential dashboard tracking is disabled for our SoundBlast service. Necessary login, session and security functions may still use cookies or similar technologies. This is separate from your optional YouTube choice on the public website; there is no shared advertising or analytics consent in that choice.
5. Optional YouTube videos
Our music-video gallery uses local preview images. The YouTube player is not loaded until you select “Allow & play”. Choosing “Not now” or simply continuing to browse leaves it off. You do not need to enable YouTube to use the rest of the website or register with SoundBlast.
YouTube is provided in the EEA by Google Ireland Limited, Ireland. Loading a player sends Google technical and playback information, such as your IP address, browser/device details, referring page and video interactions. Cookies or similar storage may be used. Data may be processed outside the EEA, including in the United States. See Google’s Privacy Policy for its processing purposes, retention practices and controls.
We use the privacy-enhanced player at youtube-nocookie.com. This limits certain personalization, but does not make the player data-free. Our basis for activating this optional embed is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, for consent-required storage or access on your device, Section 25(1) TDDDG.
Your choice applies only to the selected video. We keep it in the current page’s memory, not in a cookie or browser storage, and do not send a separate consent record to our server. Selecting another video, reloading or leaving the page resets the choice.
You can withdraw by selecting “Disable YouTube” below the player. This removes the player and stops further playback from this page. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place and cannot delete information or storage already held by Google. Google’s privacy controls and your browser’s site-data settings let you manage those separately. You can find the controls in our music-video gallery.
7. Recipients and access
Depending on the purpose, recipients include hosting and IT providers, email/support providers, SonoSuite for dashboard operation, payment providers for payments, and Google when you enable a video. Access within SoundBlast is limited to people who need it for their work. Authorities may receive information where disclosure is required by law.
Providers acting on our instructions are subject to the requirements for processing on our behalf under Article 28 GDPR. Some providers also process information for their own purposes under their own privacy notices. You can contact us for information about the recipients relevant to your request or account.
8. International processing
External services can involve processing outside the EU/EEA. Google describes its use of adequacy decisions, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses in its data-transfer information. These mechanisms are separate from your choice to load a video.
For questions about a transfer relating to your SoundBlast account, including the applicable safeguards and how to obtain information about them, contact support@soundblast.de. Platform-specific information is also available through SonoSuite’s privacy notice linked above.
9. How long information is kept
- Website access and error information is used for delivery, fault investigation and security. Relevant incident records may need to be retained while an incident is investigated or a related claim is handled.
- Support correspondence is kept while the request is being handled and where needed for the related customer relationship, legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of claims.
- Account and service information is kept while the account and distribution relationship are active. Closing an account does not immediately remove records still needed for outstanding transactions, legal retention or claims. Platform deletion and backup processes are described in the dashboard privacy notice.
- The video permission held by this page ends on withdrawal, video change, page reload or leaving the page. Google’s separate retention practices apply to information it has already received.
When the relevant purpose and any applicable retention requirement end, information is deleted or anonymized. To request account closure or ask about the retention of specific records, email support@soundblast.de.
10. Your rights and choices
Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability under Articles 15–20 GDPR. You may object under Article 21 GDPR to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation, and to processing for direct marketing at any time.
You can withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. For the embedded player, use “Disable YouTube”. For other privacy requests, contact support@soundblast.de. We may ask for information needed to verify that a request relates to your data. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the EU country of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement.
11. Children, security and updates
Our services are not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has supplied personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can investigate. We use technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss and misuse.
We update this notice when our processing or services change and show the revision date above. Where required, we will also notify account holders of material changes through the service or by email.
